Tattoo Aftercare Instructions

1. Wash your tattoo after 1-2 hours with HOT water and soap.
2. Let the HOT water run over your tattoo for 5-10 min. (expanding the skin) DO NOT BURN YOURSELF.
3. Pat Dry.
4. Apply an ice pack to the newly tattooed area for 20 min. (contracting the skin and sealing in the newly colored goodness) Also, DO NOT APPLY ICE PACK DIRECTLY TO YOUR SKIN. Wrap it in a towel or cloth.
5. Pat Dry.
6. Leave the tattoo alone for 24 hrs.
7. Apply skin lotion or Aquaphor as recommended 2-3 times a day. What ever skin lotion you prefer is fine. (Perfumed lotion contains alcohol and will sting a bit.)
8. Continue using lotion on your tattoo forever and ever.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF GETTING A TATTOO THERE?
We are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will only do single session tattoos. Larger, multiple session tattoos can be scheduled at our sister shop, Liquid Courage.

DO YOU STILL DO CUSTOM WORK AS WELL AS FLASH?
We do, however at a small scale. It must be something that can be done in one session and can be drawn on the spot. We are trying to accommodate for as many people as possible.

DO YOU TAKE APPOINTMENTS?
No we do not. If you are interested in setting up an appointment for a custom piece, please stop in to Liquid Courage and set up an appointment.

DO YOU HAVE A PIERCER THERE?
We have a piercer on Fridays and Saturdays ONLY.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?
Piercing:
If you are 18, we are a full service piercing studio. If you are under 18 parental consent WILL BE REQUIRED. The additional needs of parental consent are: State issued IDs (with photos, birth dates and matching last names or addresses) i.e. drivers license, passport, military ID and your parent or guardian MUST BE PRESENT for the entire procedure. The obvious restrictions apply - e.g., NO GENITAL PIERCINGS FOR MINORS EVER.
Tattoos:
Easy. 18 and older. NO EXCEPTIONS.

DO YOU USE NEW NEEDLES AND INKS?
Absolutely. All needles, pigments, gloves, barrier films, etc. are discarded after use. Machines and clipcords are bagged while tubes are cleaned and autoclaved after every use. If you have any questions about the sterilization process, we would be happy to answer them. Our goal is to make sure that you are completely comfortable with the process.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE COMING IN TO GET TATTOOED OR PIERCED?
Make sure you've had something to eat and be well rested. Other than that, we will just need a valid state issued photo ID and try to wear clothing that is comfortable and you don't mind getting ink on. Please DO NOT drink alcohol or take non-prescription drugs before getting tattooed. We can also not tattoo you if you are sun burnt.

WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE?
Being as we are a single session studio, we charge by piece. Factors include color, detail, size, etc.
